Nota d'usoIl sostantivo protagonista non corrisponde sempre a “protagonist”, parola che viene usata per lo più dai critici letterari o cinematografici. Nell'inglese di tutti i giorni si tende a utilizzare la locuzione “main character”: I protagonisti fuggono e si sposano, the main characters run away and get married.
